Ben Hamida Aymen

1Postdoctoral research fellow, Civil Engineer and Doctor in Physics.

Field of scientific interests: Spintronics, quantum technology, nanotechnology.

After being graduated as an Engineer in Materials Science from “Ecole des Mines de Nancy” (in Nancy, France), Aymen pursued his PhD studies at Pierre and Marie Curie University in Paris, working in a laboratory at CEA Saclay (French Atomic Energy Commission) in the field of spintronics. Aymen got then a position as a postdoc at PTB, Braunschweig (the national metrology Institute in Germany), continuing his research in spintronics.

In 2014 Aymen won the Open International Competition for grants NUST “MISA” to support young scientists with international experience for collaborative research in the field of development of scientific direction for two years.

Aymen will do his reseach work under the guidance of V. Ryazanov. The research will be focused on studying spin phenomena in ferromagnetic/normal bilayers with a perspective of an extension to ferromagnet/normal metal/ferromagnet structures and superconductor/ferromagnet structures.
